TOO MUCH CAFFEINE CAN KILL!!!

Ab to leave to go to Hattieburg to see bae...
Would have left already if hadn't been stupid & taken not 1 but 2 hydroxycuts on an empty stomach!!!
I thought my heart was gonna beat out of my chest!!!
My dad was so sweet tho & got me some orange juice & made me something to eat <3<3<3
He even sat down & ate with me
Love him
I'm feeling better now tho - I thought it was pre bae jitters (I usually get them when I'm within an hour from his house) but when it took me 10 minutes to get my earrings in I knew something was different

30 Day Challenge - Day 7: Your favorite childhood toys

Oh gosh...
I'm going to limit this list to 5 because I could probably go on & on.

1. Aquapets
Really not sure what I even did with these things but wow, I was obsessed.

2. Tiny Toons Lola Bunny Doll
So this obviously isn't the doll itself but I remember walking around our townhouse with her own tow - I didn't go anywhere without my Lola bunny & then one day I woke up and she was gone. I couldn't find her anywhere...it still messes me up when I think about the hours I spent looking for her!!! </3

3. Fur real friends
I had this "dog" & the cat - I was veryyyyy attached to my fur real friends because as a child I was severely allergic to both cats and dogs. The dog allergy subsided for the most part now, but I still can't be around cats. I will get my roommates a fur real friends cat since they all want one so badly lol

4. 102 Dalmations Oddball Doll
After "losing" (She was stolen by some kind of demon) Lola bunny, I was able to pick a replacement from Blockbuster (back when BB was cool:-)) and I picked her because I had an obsession with dogs (what's new) & if you pushed a button on her back her tail would wag <3

5. Betty Spagetty
Betty Spagetty was number one - even over Polly Pocket. Polly was a little high up on the horse for me but Betty, she understood me

EXTRA:
Ok, I don't know this baby's name but I do know she was my thing before Lola Bunny & Oddball!!! She was so cool. My brother had the same dinosaur but in green <3 & when you clicked on their chest they would say "grrrr, I'm a dinosaur!!!" and then they had a zipper on their back, and if you pulled out the "shell" you could invert the dinosaur so they would inside their egg! Then you could do the opposite & they "hatched"!! Like this:
Here is Mitchy's dinosaur half hatched!!!

30 Day Challenge - Day 6: Your zodiac sign & if you think it fits your personality

Cancer Personality Traits:
Emotional & loving
Intuitive & imaginative
Shrewd & cautious
Protective & sympathetic
Changeable & moody
Overemotional & touchy
Clinging & unable to let go

I do feel like these traits fit my personality:-)

This rain doe....

^^^^
Woke up this morning to a very loud emergency alert...
& I feel like I will receive more.
It is pouring down rain right now...it literally came on so fast, like it sounded like a *huge* bucket of water just fell from the sky all at the same time
I mean...that's kind of what all rain is but it was loud & sudden
I'm a little sleepy
And I'm craving ramen but the rain has stopped me:
Like it knew "no eating late at night"
It's fashion friday on TLC so I am watching reruns of Dare to Wear, Brides Gone Styled, Love Lust or Run & SYTTD
Today Nadine came over & we went to Mugshots <3
Then Sydney & I went to Walmart with Meg (it was pouring down rain)
blah blah blah
Watching suite life of zack & cody:-)
I WANT RAMEN god

30 Day Challenge - Day 5: Your favorite comfort foods & why

1. Popcorn -
    Luv popcorn:-)
Light butter, movie theater butter, salted, cheesy, skinny pop
Popcorn's gotten me through a lot of hard times

2. Ichiban sushi -
There's almost nothing better than coming back from Stark once in a blue moon & booking it to Ichiban with Meg. I can devour crispy shrimp & a Cali roll, omg - my mouth is just watering thinking about it

3. Ramen:-) -
Yummy...a little sour cream & soy sauce!!! MMMMM

Ending this post now bc I'm probably about to go make some ramen, c ya

30 Day Challenge - Day 4: Your views on religion

This video does a lot of the work for me, really
I couldn't have said it better or more eloquently but of course I am going to elaborate with personal stories:-)
Now for those who don't know (everyone) & the few who do lol, I'm not originally from the south, tho I do claim *insert city I live in here* I've learned a lot here - both good & not so good
Surprisingly, tho I HATE WITH A PASSION hypocrites & judgmental ignorant townies, I'm not jaded:-)
I'm studying religion at Mississippi State, (it's a minor, so it's only a handful hours, but I'd like to get my Ph.D in religious studies)
I've learned a lot of patterns about certain denominations (or demoninations) as I like to put it lol ok sorry
But that's not important when it comes to a vague overview of religion as a whole
My main views/studies are on religion as a cultural force & how people often* use religion to scapegoat an innocent faction of people (ie: homosexuals:-()
I also am interested in how people will read the bible LITERALLY >:-(
Now most people haven't been trained to read IN THE CULTURAL CONTEXT IN WHICH SOMETHING WAS WRITTEN
& that is something I don't blame people for
As an English major I BETTER BE ABLE TO DO THAT IN MY SLEEP lol or what the hell would I be in school for
But it's mostly the selective reading that pisses me off honestly because if you know how to read then you are to be held accountable
Now somewhere in Leviticus (not sure the exact chapter & verse - if u know it u can comment it down below idc:-)) they write about how "homosexuals" "blood will be upon them" but a few verses above/below it talks about not wearing mixed fibers, not planting seeds in the same whole & not eating SHELLFISH
Excuse me
Personally I feel if people are going to condemn people for loving someone (which is an abomination!!!!!) they should also be condemned for eating shrimp:-) but since that's stupid why don't we all just mind our own business?? No? Ok.
Now back to reading, anything, but for our purposes (the bible) in the cultural context in which it was written
Perhaps, just maybe, homosexuality was considered a sin (??) because in that time, the main goal was procreation...obviously, 2 men or 2 women can't conceive naturally, just not gonna happen, so that, the complete lack of procreation, was considered an abomination - not the fact that it's 2 men or 2 women
A man (not sure of his name, but I remember this fact from an AMAZING DOCUMENTARY "for the bible tells me so" on Netflix) was stoned to death for pulling out so he wouldn't get his partner pregnant...should people on birth control be stoned?!!!! (Some may think so, but for those who selectively read, I don't think u do - things to think about...)
This post has gotten off topic a little but it's very true at the core
My intention of this post was not to offend anyone...just posting my personal opinions

Summer Favies

Well, as I'm "watching" Katelyn "swallow" her selfie stick I'm trying to write a blog post so she has "something to read tonight"
So, Katelyn/fool, here ya go:

SUMMER FAVORITES (so far):
Movies:
Well, I really haven't watched many movies this summer...
I watched the Duff with my sister & it was pretty funny <3
Meg & I watched Insidious Chapter 3, and compared to the first 2 chapters, especially chapter 2 it was just no...the only redeeming quality: Dermot Mulroney :-) and the return of Elise ("so that's what that was about")
I recently watched "Spy" with Nadine and I'm so glad we decided to watch that over Poltergeist
My summer faves for movies so far are honestly not the movies that I've watched in theaters...
It's mostly Grace Unplugged, Cyberbully & Mean Girls.

TV Shows:
My number 1: ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
So okay: OITNB season 3 was released EARLY on June 11th, & since that date was looming over me, in my spare time ALL I did was rewatch season 1 & 2. I forgot how much I love the characters...& how much I hated Piper!! Ugh. Still to this day, I'd like to try minimum security (for 5 minutes LOL!)

The Originals
Not much to say other than hey Klaus <3 & Elijah!!! Be with Hayley. & Hayley, even tho you're betrothed to Jackson, no. & Jackson, how can you even talk if you were cursed to be a wolf for the better part of every month. & Davina, you literally suck...and how do you stand laying around in bed in DRESSES all day. No.

Music:
Well I've mostly been relying on my BeatsMusic playlist but I've been really really into Lorde again <3
Luv my queen
& I'm a little ashamed but I've been listening to Miley Cyrus, "Trap Queen" by Fetty Wap & "Loyal" by Chris Brown
Haven't really listened to anything new...
OH, THE FRESHMAN BY THE VERVE PIPE <3
& basically anything on Top Hits Radio &/or 90s Alternative radio

Beauty products/makeup:
I've been really into the Naked 3 palette...I love Chopper on my lid & Verve on my inner corner as a highlight
I usually use Glomineral products, but since I can only get them from my the laser center connected to my dad's clinic in New Albany, I've recently bought 2 blushes from Walmart - they're both NYC & they're both very* pigmented. Love.
I've also switched back to using a pencil eyeliner as opposed to using eyeliner and an angled brush - it's been pretty so far.
As far as my lips go, since it's summer, I mostly just use chapstick or this certain Glominerals lipstick (it's a little darker for a summer shade) but oh well!! Don't judge me.
As for my hair, I have changed it up a little: to make my hair more curly (like Lorde's!!!) I have started using a mousse by Garnier (it's so light & doesn't make my hair crunch) as well as Garnier Beach Chic Texturizing Spray:-)
To protect my hair from heat (of the blowdryer & possibly a curling iron), I use a Sebastian Trilliant Heat Protectant with a sparkle complex - sn: it smells like watermelon:-) If u want to purchase it you can buy it at Ulta (when I ran out I had a hard time finding it...)
OH & finally, the lifesaver: LOREAL Boost High Lift spray - spray a little on your roots, flip upside down, blowdry & voila <3

Clothing Items:
Since it's summer & in MS it's sweltering hot and it feels like you are breathing water at all times, I tend to stick to Nike shorts and a tshirt. My brother got me this really nice lavender 30A shirt from Rosemary Beach <3 It's one of my faves & Katelyn never fails to ask to borrow it. Yah right!
My mom bought me a Roxy kimono, it's very thin & so comfortable - love to wear it with shorts, a tshirt & some chacos or sumtim
http://imgau2.surfstitch.com/product_images/RJWT3022BTN7-ROXY-1.JPG (here is pic:-))
As for shoes, you can catch me in my white converse (with socks!!), my floral birkenstocks, chacos or Mossimo wrap sandals:-)

That about wraps up my faves:-)
C ya
