Today I woke up at 7:25:-( because me, Jorge, his friends Jacob and Cody, cody's friend Ryan and Jorge's cousin Daniel all went to New Orleans
We got there and it was fun
The first thing we did was go to cafe du monde naturally:-)
The beignets were good and every1 got powdered sugar all over them:-)
Hahaha
Then we walked around
My one souvenir from this trip?? Sweat:-)
It was so hot, like beautiful and fun and everything but just roasting
Eventually we decided to eat so we ate at Bayou Burger on Bourban street
It was reasonably priced and the food and service was gr8:-) and the air conditioning in that place?? 5 stars
Then Jorge had been wanting to get another tattoo for a while and he wanted me to pick the shop and everything so that it would be a good memory that he could associate with moi:-) so I did & he got his name in Japanese on his bicep
(the good thing for me is that it is professionally acceptable and actually cheaper than I expected...like $100 cheaper than what I was expecting:-))
We walked there in first pouring rain (he bought an umbrella) then sweltering heat and we decided that we were not doing that again sooo we called a cab and got a ride to the aquarium because that's where everyone was
The cab driver was so sweet and he offered Jorge and I bottled water and when we made sure it was free he said that it was on him:'-) and then he told us how he was new to America and new to the job and how people were mean and scary and obnoxious:'-(
Shortly thereafter we left NOLA:-)
When we got back in Hattiesburg we ate at zaxbys and now we are at daniel's apartment because he was obsessing over making lemon squares
I'm here for food but Jorge is here for games and company
Hahaha you can tell what's important in our lives
